Here are some photos of our family trip to Ireland and Scotland in May 2007.

Celtic High Cross in the Protestant Church yard at Drumcliff
The shrine at Knock where townsfolk saw apparitions in 1879. St. Joseph, St. John the Evangelist and "Our Lady" appeared before 15 official witnesses who watched the apparition for two hours. A Commission of Enquiry has been held several times to determine the validity of the claims and they have been upheld as trustworthy. All Popes from Pope Pius XII have recognized and honored Knock.

This is the intersection of two "main" roads. Now which way?
The barren "Burren". The Burren had all the trees cut centuries ago and then lost most of the soil so it is miles of bare rock now
