Celtic High Cross in the Protestant Church yard at Drumcliff |
The shrine at Knock where townsfolk saw apparitions in 1879. St. Joseph, St. John the Evangelist and "Our Lady" appeared before 15 official witnesses who watched the apparition for two hours. A Commission of Enquiry has been held several times to determine the validity of the claims and they have been upheld as trustworthy. All Popes from Pope Pius XII have recognized and honored Knock. |
