SACANDAGA SUMMER

Our family is very lucky in that we can spend most of the summer at a beautiful lake in the Adirondacks of New York. The Sacandaga Resevoir is a 26 mile long resevoir that regulates the water flow in the upper Hudson River. It is used to prevent flooding above Albany in the Spring and to keep the salt level in the lower river under control in the Summer. It is a perfect place to spend the summer. If we stagger our vacations the kids can spend five or six weeks at camp, either with one of us or with Nana. We have a beautiful spot with a nice sandy beach and there isn't a nicer spot to relax for a long, long way.

This is Mom's cabin at the lake.

The view from Mom's front porch!

Our private cove.
This is what we do all day at Camp!

Mike is shy but what a view of the beach and lake!
Dad and Uncle Charlie seem to have found out how to relax on the beach.

Everyone came to Camp and we celebrated my birthday with a great steak dinner!

This is our neighborhood!
