FLOODING OF THE ASHOKAN RESERVOIR 2005

Here are some photos of the Ashokan Reservoir!

The Upper Basin of the Ashokan Reservoir on a beautiful Fall day.	The Spillway of the Lower Basin on a normal Spring day. In the summer this are will be dry!
The Lower Spillway when the Esopus is entering the Resevoir at flood stage! What comes in must go to NYC or out over the Spillway.	All this water is heading for Hurley, Kingston and Saugerties!
The Spillway channel on a normal spring day.	The same spot in April 2005. The roar of the water was awesome!
