Here are some photos of Mike and James and the Rondout Valley Varsity track team.
Mikes best 400 meter was 56.9 seconds and the 800 was 2.07.8

Mikes first year on the Varsity track team was 2003. He never ran track before this, always baseball. He now has his mile run down to 4:42.8 so the coach has high hopes for him next season

Mike in the 2004 season.

This year (2004) James has joined track also. Here he is starting the 1500 meter race. The middle school record was 5:01. Here he is after the race. He just ran a 4:50 which broke the record. He is only in 7th grade so his coach is very excited. Mike's Varsity coach is also excited and looks forward to having James on his team.

James is pouring it on! These are photos of two different meets but he has the same determination.
