OLD HEADLIGHTS AND TAIL LAMP LENSES
Here are some old car lenses that I have
accumulated over the years. Not sure what they all fit. They are all glass except the four on the bottom row which are plastic.

TOP ROW - A
- (1) Ford, probably late teens early 20's? 9 1/4" dia., Curved, rough edges, obviously hand finished. Looks to be new in the Victor package.
- (2) Corning Conaphore tinted lense, flat, stamped 9 3/4"
- (3) Corning Conaphore tinted lense, flat, stamped 9 1/4", This lense came in the headlight bucket shown below - probably early Ford although I don't see
how a curved lense could be held in place correctly in this stlye headlight - seems to be for a flat lense?
SECOND ROW - B
- (1) Same as A-1 above only used, 9 1/4" dia., Curved, glass seems thinner than the Victor item above
- (2) A R MFG CO, CHICAGO, USA, 5 7/8" curved amber glass, #8304 over a 7 (1953-62 Chev, Pont, Dodge, Ford, etc.)
- (3) CHICAGO RADIATOR-AUTO #8045, 4 5/8" curved yellow glass
- (4) A PAIR of modern, glass yellow truck marker lights DIETZ 534
- (5) ? L.L. CO H**L 12640, round and curved w/chrome trim, fits 3" opening
- (6) SGCO 1378 CB700, on front Stimsonite NACO, Pats. 1671086, 1743832, 1874138, etc. lense opening
about 3", opening in chrome mounting 3 1/4" (Bantam tail lamp?)
THIRD ROW - C
- (1) A PAIR 365 curved, 3 9/16" x 2 1/16" (1940 Plymouth)
- (2) large Combination lense, 1733, 5 3/16" x 3 3/16", Pats 1671086, 1743835, 1807350, 1895175, etc. 1925-1930 Chevy tail light
- (3) Teardrop lense, K-D TRIFLEX SALITE A No 275, 4 11/16" x 2 1/4" (1937, 38 Olds, 1939 Chev, Pont. tail)
- (4) Round w/ears, 1539,3 7/16", Pat. 1591572, 1671086, 1743834, 1874138, etc. (1933-36,46,47 Ford)
- (5) Oval w/taper from 0" deep to 7/8" deep,4 1/4" X 2", K-D TRIFLEX A No 278 L. L. Co 2(3?)93 L.H., Pat.
1591572, 1743834, 1807350, 1906655, etc.(1940 Chevy LH Tail)
- (6) Oval, K-D TRIFLEX A No 276 L. L. Co., 4" X 2 3/8", Pats. 1671086, 1874138, CHIPPED! (1937,38 Pontiac)
- (7) Round 3" K-D TRIFLEX FULITE A No 270 SEMA APPROVED - same Pats.(1937 Ford)
- (8) Clear curved license plate lense? VERY CHIPPED!, Tapers from 3 1/2" down to 2 3/8", Hgt 7/8" to 1 1/4", No Markings
BOTTOM ROW - D
- (1) Plastic, SIGSTAT B'KLN, NY - fits 4 3/16" opening, DAMAGED!
- (2) Plastic, clear, Guide F-1 5932410, 3 1/8" x 1 3/4" (1941 Chevy Parking Lens)
- (3) Plastic, clear, 5935923, 3 1/8" x 1 3/4", ONE TAB BROKEN OFF!
- (4) Plastic, clear, round, FPT 51 with something in an oval, 2 1/8", ROUGH!(1951 Ford Parking Lens)

These are the headlights that the yellow, 9 1/4" Conaphore lense was in. |
It must be late teens or early 20's as that is when Corning Conaphore lenses were popular? |
These lights were made to mount directly on the fenders. The bar in between was usually used to hang the license plate from. |

The bar between the lights is 23" long so that would establish how far apart the lights were when mounted on the fenders. |
